I was too busy seeing to my own kind to have much time to examine humans, unfortunately. There aren't many youkai doctors to go around even in modern times, so those of us that are available don't have much time on our hands.
Is that so? Perhaps I should keep an eye on him, then, if he's not the type to ask for help directly. I do need to thank him for this somehow, and keeping people alive is more of a joy to me than a job, so I'd hope it would count!
