Indeed, with Li Lianhua currently preoccupied with dessert related activities, it’s going to be Di Feisheng’s door, not that he has any feeling of responsibility about it. Or any kind of forewarning about people knocking on it, beyond that suggested by desserts in the first place, which is very hit or miss.
So it is that the one opening the door on poor bundled Inigo is perhaps not the host he’s expecting, but rather a very neutral-of-affect Di Feisheng. Beyond an inscrutable look at the scarf, recognition does not destabilize the neutrality whatsoever. It is possible this is on purpose.
